THE MOST POWERFUL ANTIOXIDANT YOU CAN TAKE
Acetyl-Glutathione is recommended for Hepatitis, shingles, Lyme Disease, cancer, Multiple Scolerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, chemical sensitivity and many other conditionsLEARN MORE
What it Does/How it Works:
Glutathione is a potent antioxidant, and its depletion is a component of every chronic disease, or inflammatory condition, including aging. It is the main intracellular anti-oxidant found in the liver.
Hepatitis C is disease of oxidation. The Hepatitis C Virus does not directly injure the hepatocytes or liver cells. It is a cellular immune response to the presence of the HCV virus that generates a reactive oxygen species (ROS) that subsequently damages the liver. This happens in the lysosomes, which are organelles found in each cell of the body. These are the little chemical factories of the cells that produce the ROS in an attempt to kill the invading virus. Adequate Glutathione in the body is a front-line defense against liver injury caused by reactive oxygen species.
Glutathione is also the anti-oxidant protection for red blood cells. It allows red blood cells a longer lifespan, which builds blood counts. This gives strength quickly when people are anemic or blood deficient.
Glutathione is indicated for those with chemical sensitivity. Adequate Glutathione allows people to detoxify chemicals and other poisons more easily.
Acetylation is used with aspirin as it allows molecules to more easily pass through the blood brain barrier. Acetyl-Glutathione was patented in 1995. The makers received their patent with the claim that acetylating glutathione would enable it to pass through cellular barriers into the liver more easily.
Glutathione is a three-amino acid strand and it can be acetylated at any position along that chain. It was created to be easily assimilated intracellularly, so it can then can perform its powerful antioxidant and metabolic regulatory effects without prior decomposition by peptidases.”
Acetyl-glutathione is a compound normally found in a human body, as an analog to the potent antioxidant, reduced glutathione. Glutathione is of course a potent intracellular antioxidant, and it’s depletion is a component of every chronic disease, or inflammatory condition, or the most chronic of circumstances; aging. It may also act; as other peptides have been found to behave, as a signal to other metabolic processes.LEARN MORE
